Death and the Maiden at the Bürgenstock (near Lucerne)

Today was drizzly, and cold and with not much to do after a professional encounter than tour the countryside between Zug and Lucerne. So we went up to the Bürgenstock, a place I know very well for having gone there for years... As it's Good Friday, we headed for the chapel where actually Audrey Hepburn got married in 1954. Some people speak of "shock and awe". This is what happened. Love at first sight. And here was this sculpture, a representation of "Death and the Maiden", standing right there in the rain. I had never seen it, never noticed it... This work of art just obsessed me for the rest of the day, and here it is...
